Elizabeth Jones, M.D. is a board-certified physician with a passion for helping patients achieve their aesthetic goals through a variety of non-surgical techniques. She listens, learns, and educates with patient outcomes her foremost priority.
Undergraduate: University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biophysics and Biochemistry
Medical School: University of Texas Health Science Center Medical School in the Houston Medical Center where she graduated summa cum laude and was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr, Jones served as Anatomy Laboratory Instructor at both the University of Texas Health Science Center and Baylor College of Medicine Gross Anatomy and Neuroanatomy Sections.
Residency: Diagnostic Radiology at the Medical College of Virginia
Fellowship: Musculoskeletal Imaging and Interventions at Virginia Commonwealth University-MCV.
Dr. Jones’ career has encompassed both academic and private practice endeavors. She is board certified by the American Board of Radiology, served as Assistant Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University-MCV in the Musculoskeletal Interventional and Woman’s Imaging Sections, and also formerly served as Associate Professor and Chief of Musculoskeletal Diagnostic Imaging at UTMB Galveston.
Dr. Jones currently engages in private practice Aesthetic Medicine and Diagnostic Musculoskeletal Radiology. She continues to actively participate in numerous FDA clinical trials, largely in the assessment of implanted devices and tissue repair responses to biological agents. Active interests include nonionizing radiation laser light therapies, injection and thread-lifting techniques used in Nonsurgical Aesthetic Medicine, anatomical variations affecting patient outcomes in Aesthetic Medicine and skin tissue responses to topical agents. When she is not pursuing her professional interests, she enjoys spending time with her family, music and trawling around the Gulf of Mexico with her husband in their Nordic Tug boat the “Elizabeth Anne”.
